Beware of Hastings Direct vehicle insurance
Hi you may be interested in what I consider a scam with HASTINGS DIRECT vehicle insurance. I did a fully comp quote on go compare and got directed to Hastings Direct best price quote for my 16 year old van. About to buy and put my credit card details in when I noticed the word GPS in some small print at bottom of page. So I zoomed in and read it.
Does anyone have any feedback on Hastings Direct?
I've just come to look at a car insurance quote from last week (previously £800), and now hastings has popped up with a quote of (£350).
Hasting Direct Premier (Car Insurance) - thoughts?
Hasting Direct is the only one I recognise and the Premier policy seems to have a good level of cover. I am just wondering if anyone has insured with Hastings Direct, and if so, what was your experience like with them? Were they easy to get hold of? How did they deal with claims, or complaints? Hastings Direct and Advantage Insurance Company
Be very wary of using Hastings Direct. I got my motorcycle insurance through them in march this year. In July I moved to a new house and advised them of the change of address. They acknowledged my email and asked for further info, which I provided.

Hastings direct with black box mileage - MoneySavingExpert Forum
My daughter got insurance with hastings direct and got black box reciever in car, it was 1st car so we estimated 6000 miles fir college and back, it says they'll email when you're close to mileage, but she's now over as she got a job, but the app nor email have mentioned anything. When it ends for renewal, can we just search and renew with whoever cheapest with no penalty?
